We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant / Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. This role combines financial accounting with project costing and offers the opportunity to work closely with operational teams to drive accurate reporting, cost control, and profitability.

You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial records while providing valuable insights into project and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain financial records, reconciliations, and trial balance
Manage VAT, statutory submissions, and audit support
Prepare and monitor project costings and profitability
Analyse variances between actuals and forecasts
Process payments, supplier reconciliations, and cash controls
Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure accurate costing.

Requirements
BCom Accounting / Management Accounting (or similar)
3–5 years’ experience in accounting or cost accounting
Strong knowledge of VAT and financial reporting
Pastel experience and advanced Excel skills
Manufacturing/project environment experience advantageous
