1. Check surface preparation.  Carry out quality control checks, request client quality inspector witness where necessary.  Observe work and test instruments to ensure calibration validity.  Make sure all checks are carried out in order to meet client specification requirements.  Record inspection information on Company quality documentation (Coating inspection Record / Inspection and Test Plan) and ensure client’s signature of approval.  Ensure quality documentation are saved and obtainable on the Company share drive.
2. Managing teams on client sites.
3. Know the company operating procedures, policies and guidelines on Activ Quality Management system and ensure operations adhere to these control measures.  
4. Set production goals in line with the Company Mission Statement
5. Read and assess specification details and ensure operation workers carry out these duties in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard and within the necessary time frame.  
6. Review applicable paint system compatibility.
7. Marketing on corrosion protection.    

Job Purpose:

Directly manage and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as grit blasters, spray painters, production assistants, forklift operators and drivers. 

Demonstrate thorough working knowledge and proven ability of all phases and types of coating applications and methods and recognized industry standards. 

Ensure Structures are painted in line with client quality requirements.
