Job knowledge needed:
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 45 001:2018 requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993) and its associated Regulations.
- Proficiency in applying risk assessment methodologies to company operations and activities.
- Strong ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis.

Education:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Registration with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
- Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or Certificate, such as SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or NADSAM.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience and a proven track record in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45 001 and/or Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
- Knowledge and experience in ISO 45 001:2018, including the introduction, implementation, and internal auditing of ISO 45 001:2018 or Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
- Expertise in conducting incident investigations.
- Experience in internal auditing of management systems.
- Familiarity and experience with third-party and certification audits.
- Experience in steel fabrication, construction, and/or the oil and gas industries will be considered advantageous.
