Position overview:

 As part of our Quality Team, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all employees, visitors, and contractors comply with company, client, and JAFZA safety rules;
• Conduct daily and weekly HSE inspections at sites and workshops;
• Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Monitor high-risk activities including lifting, hot work, electrical work, and confined space entry;
• Ensure Risk Assessments (RA), Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and Safe Work Practices are followed;
• Support the Permit-to-Work system in workshop and client facilities;
• Ensure all accidents, incidents are reported promptly, assist in incident investigations and follow up corrective and preventive actions;
• Conduct HSE inductions for employees, visitors, and contractors;
•  Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings;
• Support HSE audits and JAFZA inspections;
• Promote a strong safety culture across all activities.

We seek the ideal candidate profile with:

Educational background:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably with a quality background
   

Industry knowledge:

• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in projects, workshops, or industrial environments
• Company HSE procedures
• JAFZA EHS requirements
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Hazard identification and risk control
• Incident reporting and Permit-to-Work systems
   

Essential skills:

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification preferred
