Job Purpose

Under the direction of the HSE Coordinator and Group HSE Manager, the HSE Officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment for all Cinco Engineering employees in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable legal standards. The role provides leadership, guidance, and coordination of day-to-day health, safety, and environmental activities within the workshop and across project sites, ensuring compliance with company procedures, risk management processes, and statutory obligations while fostering a positive safety culture throughout the organization.

Cinco Engineering is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Officer to promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment across our workshop and project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety programmes, conducting inspections and audits, leading incident investigations, delivering safety training, and ensuring compliance with company, client, and legal requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive safety culture and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.

Requirements
Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or Certificate e.g. SAMTRAC, NEBOSH or National Diploma in Safety Management
SACPCMP registration as a CHSO. - Compulsory
Minimum 3-year health and safety experience.
Refinery experience advantageous
Medical fit and in good physical condition.
Clear criminal record

Duration: Approximately 2 and a half months.
