We are actively recruiting for a QA Coordinator for 3C Metal Belmet, Namibia (Walvis Bay).

Job Purpose:

• Ensure that processes and procedures needed for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.

• Monitoring and continually improve of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for ISO 9001:2015 management systems.
• Report to top management on system performance and improvement needs.
• Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all requirements relating to ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Know what certification is and have a positive attitude towards certification.
• Maintain the link and all communication with certification body (DNV).

Summary of duties: 

• Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and subcontractor audits, ensuring findings are resolved.

• Manage third-party audits, including liaising with certification bodies and clients.

• Oversee corrective actions from audits and ensure compliance with quality management processes.

• Evaluate and update supplier performance, issue supplier alerts, and maintain approved supplier lists.

• Lead quality-related inductions and training for employees.

• Maintain and update the quality manual, quality policy, strategic direction, and organisational objectives.

• Manage equipment registers, customer feedback, complaints, non-conformances, and lessons learned.

• Organise and present management review meetings in line with ISO 9001:2015.

• Ensure continual improvement of the quality management system and represent the company in Group QA meetings.

• Handle vendor applications and control project drawing distributions.

• Knowledge

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards clausal requirements.
