Job description

Responsibilities / Duties / Job Skills:

·         To execute the Storeman roles and responsibilities using the Heropos system according to Document 3CM-SM-RD-0072

·         To execute the receiving of stock from suppliers and the issuing of material etc. to the workshops and other departments

·         Record the relevant issuing and receipting of stock on the applicable company templates or HeroPos system

·         Return stock to suppliers for repairs.

·         Administering all relevant paper work and delivery notes, as per defined procedures.

·         Use HeroPOS system to book equipment and consumables in and out of stores

·         Ensure proper maximum and minimum stock handling are maintained at all times.

·         Implement and maintain the inventory accounting and recording systems for the 3CMetalBelmet Riser and Bulk store and any associated client parts stores or 3CM/3CBS riser related stores.

·         Ensure compliance with the company weld consumable control procedure.

·         Monitor and control client equipment, material and project specific deliveries. Receipt and dispatch.

·         Expedite and monitor for returning equipment.

·         Provide input information to monitor the import and exports status.

·         Establish and maintain stores, procedures and technical instructions.

·         Maintain a high level of stores control and housekeeping in areas of responsibility.

·         Ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

·         Assist with the monitoring and auditing of the stores within the 3CMetal organization.

·         Monitor the 3CM General Consumable stores that includes stores audits, system monitoring and general monitoring of good stores practice.

·         Liaise with Project Engineers, quality control and management for the identification and recording of riser parts.

·         Assist with any procurement and logistics functions as instructed.

·         Implement, maintain and improve good stores and logistics practices.

·         Ensure personnel terminations and return of tools & equipment are performed.

·         Ensure personnel deduction are submitted to HR if required.

·         Complies with all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, legal and regulatory requirements as stipulated by company requirements

Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience:

·         3 – 4 years’ experience in a related position.

·         Stores or related Qualification.                                                                                                                                                           
To acquire within the company:

·       Knowledge of 3C Metal Stores procedures and polices

 
Functional and Behavioral Competencies:

Excellent analysing ability
Excellent Engineering Materials Knowledge
Must be able to work independently
PC literate, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
