We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Dimensional Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Responsibilities / Duties / Job Skills: 

• To verify and record the dimensional accuracy of fabricated steel structures/pipes/components to the Approved for Construction (AFC) drawing. This role combines the precision of dimensional inspection with the technical expertise of boilermaking.


• Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.


• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometres, callipers, and gauges to measure dimensions.


• Verify that parts conform to engineering drawings, specifications, and standards in terms of as build dimensions.


• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of measurements and findings.


• Identify and report non-conformances and work with the production team to resolve issues.


• Perform inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections.


• Ensure that all inspection equipment is calibrated and in good working condition.


• Assist in the development and maintenance of inspection procedures and standards.


• Assist QC staff and others in performing quality duties and interpreting standards, codes and specifications.


• Ensure that all fabricated steel structures/boilers, pipes, pressure vessels, and related equipment is inspected for mechanical damage/defects and ensure that same meets the specified requirements before any final inspection is concluded.

Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum 10-15 years’ experience as a Boilermaker with an excellent boiler-making rating.


• Related Boilermaker Qualification.


• Qualified/knowledgeable in different Boiler-making Techniques and Material.
