Position overview:

 As part of our Electrical Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions for complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver electrical drawings (SLD, Termination, GA) per project requirements.
• Prepare and update cable lists and red-line markups.
• Create concept SLDs for new scopes and clarify with clients.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) for tenders and ensure alignment with drawings.
• Maintain compliance with relevant standards and update databases/tools.
• Review sketches and drawings for design accuracy.
• Manage document control: registration, numbering, classification, archiving, and transmittals.
• Support PLC ladder logic programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider).

We seek the ideal candidate profile with:

Educational background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Industry knowledge:

• Minimum 3–5 years as an Electrical Designer.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and engineering best practices.
• Understanding of hazardous areas on drilling rigs.

Essential skills:

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving ability.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Collaborative and team-oriented.
• Excellent written and spoken English; capable of preparing reports and statistics.
• Good IT skills, including MS Office and document control software (M-Files is an advantage).
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
