Key duties and responsibilities
- Conduct safety assurance activities as directed, in accordance with the ISO 45001:2018 standard.
- Provide HSE support to projects by maintaining a visible presence in the workshops and on-site. Ensure site visits are conducted at least once per shift and, where possible, coordinate with the project manager.
- Regularly review and stay updated on all applicable legislation and standards to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain a Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Regularly audit the SMP to verify compliance.
- Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately.
- Participate in the investigation of incidents.
- Review safety obligations for client projects.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, legal, and regulatory requirements as stipulated by company policies.
