Position overview:

As part of our Quality Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions for complex projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accurate and effective use of various measuring devices such as, but not limited to, tape measure, hi-low gauge vernier, clocking dial, digital level, laser level.
Diamond mining, oil and gas industry experience and knowledge is advantages.

PROFILE:

We seek the ideal candidate profile with:

3-6 months exposure to heavy steel fabrication (can be obtained from 3C Metal Belmet as a prerequisite to permanent employment)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic Engineering
• Bachelor of Science Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor of Science Diploma in Metallurgical Studies
• Any welding inspector’s course

Successful candidates must be able to travel to South Africa for 2-3 months to receive training. Candidates must also be willing and able to travel offshore or abroad for project related requirements.
