As our Welding and Dimensional Inspector Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions for complex projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
- Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify dimensions.
- Compare measurements to engineering drawings and standards.
- Document results and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Report non-conformances and assist in resolving issues.
- Perform inspections at receiving, in-process, and final stages.
- Conduct pre-weld checks to ensure compliance with WPS.
- Perform post-weld visual inspections to identify defects.

We seek the ideal candidate profile with:

Educational background:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic Engineering
• Bachelor of Science Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor of Science Diploma in Metallurgical Studies

Industry knowledge:

•  3-6 months exposure to heavy steel fabrication 

Essential skills:

• Accurate and effective use of various measuring devices such as, but not limited to, tape measure, hi-low gauge vernier, clocking dial, digital level, laser level.
• Diamond mining, oil and gas industry experience and knowledge is advantages
